Many people have the habit of overeating but occasionally when they see their
favorite food. This type of behavior is mostly found on most of the people as
they can not control themselves while seeing certain foods items. Generally most
of the people have the craving habit which is felt for certain food items like
candy, chocolate or something which will give sugar or carbohydrates to the
body. Some time certain people also have the carving habits for potato chips or
for an extra glass of wine.
Most of the people feel that this bad habit cannot be cured as they are
responsible as they cannot control themselves and they have the very weak will
power to control themselves but the fact is that the food cravings is not the
fault of the people its having biological reasons to study more about the food
carving habits you should understand how to beat the food carving habits and
realize the fact.
Following are the reasons for food carving
Whenever we are tired and we feel depressed at that time we have very low blood
sugar and the body signals the brain that it needs something to energies for
this reasons it results in a craving for sugar or carbohydrates the basic
reasons for carving habit is that we feel that to have good hormone in our body
to energies our body. That is why whenever there is less of we feel a craving
for sweet food such as chocolates to make up for the shortage of sugar in blood.
Unfortunately, sugar or carbohydrates release only a short burst of serotonin;
when that burst dies down, the craving returns. This leads us into a spiral.
Another reason for food carving is Adrenal Fatigue. This happens when you feel
much stressed and you feel that you have not had a restful sleep or you are
feeling very tired for not any specific reason, and then you are suffering from
adrenal fatigue. In very rare cases the condition is called adrenal exhaustion.
In this modern world this health disorder is quite common, but unfortunately it
is very rarely appreciated as such when the body sends a signal to the brain for
a having hunger and wants to eat something which you like the most and then it
is the time when you feel that you are craving for sugar or carbohydrate snacks
or may be for coffee during the day or at night you may look for alcohol or
carbohydrates. All of this only makes the problem worse as you feel always to
eat.
The carving habit of food is also seen in those people who were in dieting for
certain time so that to keep them in low fat, low carbohydrate and they maintain
themselves for not increasing their body weight but when they see their favorite
foods they cannot control themselves they start eating without caring about
other things. It is because they have become at least partially insulin
resistant without realizing the condition. In the normal course blood sugar
level of the body is maintained stable by the action of insulin starts when the
insulin signals the cells of the body to absorb glucose from the bloodstream
when necessary. Because of their insulin resistant condition, the cells do not
respond to the signal and cannot mop up glucose they need. This results in a
distress signal to the brain asking for more carbohydrates or sugar. The body
